Steve (Greeno) Green

Steve Green is a veteran freelance reporter, well known in the news business for chasing environmental stories, in his quest to supply the media with interesting copy, in return for a bigger chunk of change, that he invests in researching breaking stories. Where other reporters fear to tread.

Steve was the reporter who negotiated an exclusive with Sky News, in return for funding to help John Storm save the $Billion dollar whale, and then, with Charley Temple, captured on film the sinking of Jonah, and Shui Razor and John Storm rescuing 'Kuna,' Kulo Luna's calf from ghost fishing nets.

Steve Green shadowed Charley Temple when she was investigating activity in Brazil, thought to be human enhancement and cloning technology. With connections to the South American drug cartels supplying Europe and US regions with cocaine.

He loves the Elizabeth Swann, because it is solar and hydrogen powered. Steve believes that all new vessels should be zero carbon like John Storms trusty ship. He adores Hal, the AI computer onboard the Swann.

Steve Green (Greeno) is a fictional character in the John Storm 'inner-space' adventure series. He is one of the mainstay supporting characters in this Treasure Island story.

Only gold, silver and gemstones were worth anything to captains of old. The currency was easy to trade and did not corrode, so ideal to be secreted in the most inhospitable environments. Paper money is worthless, when the value can rise and fall, without anything tangible to back the promises written thereon. In the modern world, with rampant inflation and cost of living crises, we'd have to agree with the pirates.
