Bristol,
the Hispaniola
Scott
Tremaine is a member of the British Geographical
Society, and an explorer
friend of Sir Rodney Baskerville and Lord James Huntington. He is a
professional treasure
hunter, and ship's captain. In it for the money. Though he was an explorer plain and simple
to begin with.
Scott
has heard of the Artificially
Intelligent, Elizabeth
Swann, but does not trust autonomous navigation systems completely. Let
alone artificial intelligence. Though he is slowly warming to the idea,
using an autopilot to plot their course to Jamaica, from Plymouth. Having
collected the (renamed) Hispaniola from Bristol.
He
suspects that they are looking for buried pirate treasure, and are not just
on a survey mission to record archaeological finds. But he is unsure if it is Blackbeard's
long-lost buried treasure, or Henry
Morgan's undiscovered hoard, Baskerville and/or Huntington, might be
after.
He
signs on as the ship's captain, Hispaniola.
